Hello,

I have VVX500 IP phones that a company gave to my association. There was an unknown password so I downloaded and burned the last available firmware. I would like to configure them but the web interface is empty, there is css frames but no widgets, and I don't know what can be the case and how to solve it. whether I set https or http I get the same result.
Would someone know how I could repair it ?

Thanks

Antoine

Hello @_Antoine ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product you updated to and from.

This is important, especially in the future, when someone finds this post in days, months, or years.

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

In the FAQ or the Read 1st section, we remind users why this is important.

The VVX 500 is end of life as per >here< and the last software release is UC Software 5.9.7 Ref F. This version "should" not have the issue you describe.

If you are on this version try a factory restore or another browser like Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc.

Best regards

Steffen Baier

Thank you Steffen,

I finally can acces to my phones web interface, by using an alternate browser named Pale Moon.

the versions are the following :

Phone Information

Phone Model  VVX 500

Part Number  3111-44500-001 Rev:A

UC Software Version  5.9.8.5760

Updater Version  5.9.8.4127

I burned the latest version I found there : https://downloads.polycom.com/voice/voip/uc_sw_releases_matrix.html

I don't knowwhere to find Rev F.
VVX500 are oldies but I work for a shop that does professional integration which people and companies give old things instead of throwing in the garbage, so I take what I receive and make it work.

If someone knows if I can update a thing in order to access the phone with a more common browser, I hear you.

thanks every one,

Have a nice day

Hello @_Antoine ,

Apologize, I meant the latest is UC Software 5.9.8, not 5.9.7 Rev F.

Try a factory restore or download 5.9.7 and try this.

Best Regards
