@GabTheScripter -- MEMTEST uses a small set of the CPU's instructions, while extensively testing the RAM.

Try something more "complicated", like connecting a "spare" disk-drive, and trying to install Windows onto it.

Or, download the HP Hardware Diagnostics software, and run it.

how do i download the hp hardware diagnostic

HP Recommended

@GabTheScripter --  i dont have the hp diagnostic thing

This package can be downloaded from HP, and it will create a bootable CD/DVD.

Boot your computer from this CD/DVD, and run the HP Diagnostics.

You RAM seems OK, but run all the other tests, especially the motherboard and the disk-drive.

They are the most-likely components to cause your symptoms, over than overheating.

@GabTheScripter --  i cannot download the ISO

That is a high-level "executive summary".  But, if you want technical assistance, please give some technical details:

  1. can you find the downloadable HP Diagnostics package on HP's website?
  2. what error-message do you get when you attempt to download it?
  3. does your computer have a DVD-writer, so that you can "burn" the ISO to a blank-DVD disk?
  4. any error-message during the "burn" process?
  5. do you have an empty USB memory-stick of sufficient capacity to write the ISO to it?
  6. do you have a working USB socket on your computer?
  7. are you able to boot your computer from the DVD, or from the USB?

  1. any other error-messages?

HP Recommended

@GabTheScripter -- after you have downloaded the ".iso" file, open the folder containing the file, and right-mouse-button click on the file, and choose "burn disc image".

but the thing is i cant download the iso file

HP Recommended

@GabTheScripter -- s i cant download the ISO file

Why not? What happens when you try? What error-message do you get?

Do you have an extremely-slow Internet connection?

Is your Internet connection "intermittent", causing the download to fail?

Please explain.
