Hey! I have recently purchased a HP E24m G4 FHD USB-C Conferencing Monitor, it works fine with one of my HP laptops (running Windows 10 enterprise) via USB-C connection alone - but when it comes to using it with either of my two other laptops (both running Windows 11 standard - one HP, one ASUS) it doesn't send display from my laptop to my monitor - it does pick up the USB ports and receive audio though all through the USB-C connection, just doesn't send video. I have another (slightly older) HP docking monitor that connects via USB-C and that works fine with the Windows 11 laptops (the monitor shows up as "generic PnP device" in device manager). With the new conferencing monitor the device only shows as an audio device and no other monitors are shown in device manager.
I have tried all of the common fixes (new drivers, uninstalling existing ones, BIOS update etc....) but to no avail, I seem to think that it is something to do with windows 11 or possibly there being a driver issue with this new monitor?
Well I hope that has covered all of the info that would be needed on the issue, hopefully someone has a solution out there someone 🙂

What is your HP Laptop 14s-dq1xxx (xxx can be from 000aa to 999zz). It should have SAME ports as the following machine
It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine.
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable
Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as USB to HDMI Adapter
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
The HP ProBook 440 G6 has different USB-C port.
Regards.
