I have an hp OfficeJet 8015e. I got an error code that I can’t figure out. It’s flashing like it wants to explode. The code is: OXB8077DF6, does anyone know what it means? Other than the fact that I can’t print?

Hi @cslisz14216

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That error code OXB8077DF6 on your HP OfficeJet 8015e usually indicates a hardware issue, often related to the printer’s firmware or internal components.

Since the printer is flashing and unresponsive, here are some steps to troubleshoot:

1. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet directly (avoid surge protectors).
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on.

2. Check for Firmware Updates

  • If the printer starts working again, check for firmware updates via the HP Smart app or HP’s support page here.
  • Updating the firmware can resolve persistent errors.

  • HP’s troubleshooting guide for your printer model is available here.

Try these steps and let me know if you need further assistance!
