Hi BobMarley,

The power draw of the NVIDIA GTX 750 will vary by the make and model types. The amount of memory, clock rates, fans, attached monitors and resolutions all play into a graphics card power rating.  This particular EVGA NVIDIA GTX 750 TI is rated at 85 watts.  Other video card site rate the NVIDIA reference model 750 at 55 watts.

Try the mini-ITX gigabyte 970. Should be able to fit into a small computer. However, PSU at least 400W eight pin power connecter.

this is what i want to know, is my pc small so i should get the mini-ITX gigabyte 970  or is it big enough to handle the gtx 970?

HP 8300 looks too small to put in a normal graphics card. Best is big dave advise u. You can open your PC and look at your existing graphics card. Is it similiar sized to mini-ITX gigabyte 970. Your PSU is not enough for  mini-ITX gigabyte 400watts. If can fit in, you have to buy a new PSU. Definitely a normal sized gigabyte G1 is out of the question.

phantome,

The Gigabyte min-ITX requires an eight pin PCI-E power connector.
