When my HP Pavilion is plugged into its charger, the CPU bottlenecks at 0.39GHz, making online gaming impossible. Unplugged, I can reliably get ~1.40GHz. This is obviously making using my computer difficult.
I'm not very tech savvy, but my friend has walked me through a couple of steps. I've restored all of my power settings to default and I've installed the latest drivers, but the issue persists. Unfortunately, I am not the most technologically literate. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?
