Purchased the HP Omen 17 from Costco. Model number: 17-cb1055cl
It is: i7-10750H - GeForce RTX 2070 - 144hz
Reviews online say this model has G-Sync. But I do not see the option in the Nvidia Control Panel. There is no 'Display' menu and no mention of G-Sync.
This is the same issue as the post here:

This is a brand new laptop. I updated the BIOS to the latest version on HP's site. I updated all Windows Updates and all HP updates. I even did a complete uninstall of NVIDIA and reinstalled from HP, even though the laptop is only 2 days old. Still no G-Sync option. My monitor refresh is properly set to 144hz.
Does this model have G-Sync? If so, what could be the problem?

Its specs

From its parts list, it only has non-Gsync parts, not Gsync parts

No more information on the RTX 2070 video graphics on BOTH links

According to this page, my model has G-Sync listed as a Special Feature:

I worked with HP Support for two hours. They said that the model should have G-Sync (probably because of that page I linked to), but we could not enable it and could not find it.
This model’s screen DOES NOT have G-Sync and that product page is WRONG.
Update: HP Support later told me that the laptop does have G-Sync but only when connected to an external monitor that does support G-Sync, and NOT with the built-in screen.
