Installing the Omen Command Center on a new installation of Windows 10 and the Omen CE and AN series laptops.
Before getting started, open Windows Explorer (not internet explorer) and go to the View tab.
Enable Hidden Items.
Download and install 7-zip.exe 64 bit. 7zip downloads
Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010
Download SYSTEM.SAV.rar
Extract the SYSTEM.SAV.rar file…
- Right click on the file and choose 7zip>Extract files…
- Open the SYSTEM.SAV folder, then open the flags folder.
- "Copy" the OMENALLYINSTALL file.
- Navigate to C:\SYSTEM.SAV\Flags and "paste" the install file.
- Note: if the Flags folder is missing, paste the whole flags folder over.
If you have not done so yet, go to the HP drivers page and download the HP System Event Utility and install it.
Download the Omen Command Center, but don’t install it yet.
Download the file command center.rar and extract it.
- Right click on the file and choose 7zip>Extract files…
- Open the folder and double click the reg file to install it.
Now install the Omen Command Center.
Dont forget to disable Hidden items from Windows explorer now.
