I tried printing from my mobile using the eprint email address I was given and it didn't work. I then tried logging on to my hpconnected account, found I didn't have one so set it up using my personal email address. I entered the claim code (the left part of my eprint email address) and it tells me it is already in use -- by me most likely -- and that I need to disconnect it from the current account. I have no idea how to do this since I cannot find my "other" account to log into.
This system must have been designed by a drunk. It is one of the most convoluted, impossible to work with systems I have come across in this century. It happened a lot in the early days of home computing but we should be well beyond this level of ineptitude by now.

Hi,
Disable Web Services from the printer's ePrint settings menu, then re-enable ePrint and a new sheet with a valid claim code will be printed.
If you cannot locate the option please clarify your exact printer model.

Hi,
The rules for email address are the same for all: You can ONLY use email addres which is not in use (even your old email address).
Now what is your printer ? You can check from its screen and use that email address. You can change but again, must be unique and available.
Regards.
