I would like to file a complaint regarding the HP Instant Ink service.

I maintained an active subscription between 17/04/2024 and 20/05/2026, paying a monthly fee of €15.99, which represents approximately €400 over more than two years of use.

I decided to cancel the service because the page limit system and extra page charges no longer made sense for my type of use. In several months I paid for pages I did not use and, in others, I was additionally charged for exceeding the limit.

I would also like to add that the last ink shipment I received was on 08/07/2025 and, even in May 2026, I still have cartridges with ink remaining. This clearly shows that my printing volume was relatively low and that I used the consumables moderately.

However, what I find most serious is the fact that the cartridges already installed in my printer, still containing ink, were simply blocked after cancelling the subscription. I consider this deeply unfair and anti consumer, especially after the significant amount I invested in the service over these years.

I kindly request a solution to this situation or an appropriate explanation regarding the blocking of cartridges that still contain usable ink. If I do not receive a response or a satisfactory solution, I will proceed with a formal complaint through the official Portuguese Complaints Book platform.
