HP instand ink- how do you stop it using more pages then your paid plan

I have a monthly payment plan for an agreed amount of pages. Some carry over each month if not used. But if you go over the amount agreed, how do i stop if printing more or give me a warning to stop. I don't want to go over and pay £1 for 10 sheets. I want it to be capped at the agreed number of pages,

At this writing, there is no way to prevent you being able to print if you have exceeded your monthly plan allowance.

The contract:

I guess the best plan is for you to keep track of what you are printing.

Stop printing when you are at your target number of pages.

Important -

The number of pages reported by the plan might not reflect the actual number of pages at a given time / date.

 HP Instant Ink - Page Count Is Not the Same as Actual Pages Printed

True - the freedom to print what you want does mean you are responsible to keep track of what you are doing.

When you are counting, remember that a 2-sided printed sheet = 2 pages.
