I have done everything asked of me to fix the, "Incompatible Cartridge Error," Turned off, update, clean(Not once but 3 times), in the past I called and the Rep told me basically to figure it out, so I cancelled HP instant ink...now that I am trying it a second time and having the same problems and they won't send new cartridges until it can read the ink levels. I am hoping that another rep will see this and get them to send me new cartridges...Otherwise I'll just cancel and get rid of all HP products and services.

Honestly though it should not be this hard-If you know there are errors then you should just send replacements saying" hey we noticed an error, please replace your cartridge and see if this helps."

Hello. I am having rhe exact same issue. Have tried unplugging, checking the firmware and cleaning the cartridges and still no luck. I get my catridges sent to me from HP instant ink. Please can you help? Please could i be sent some new catridges?

I don't see how your reply resolved the issue.  Is there an actual resolution other than buying a new printer?

I don't think you need to buy a new printer. It's most likely a faulty cartridge. I talked to the help via whatsapp and they were super helpful. Posted me out a new cartridge for free! Also worth trying to print by just having the colour or just having the black ink catridge installed in the printer. It's most likely just one of the cartridges that is faulty rather than both. Hope that helps!

The HP service desk resolved the issue. They sent out a replacement ink cartridge and it has been working without issue. Thank you HP support.
