I am having the same issue 😞 I have been going around in circles for about a week and it's so frustrating. It says cartridge problem for the tri-colour. I've ordered a new one thinking it would solve it, but nope still the same error message.
I urgently need to use this for my university work. I have done all the troubleshooting, done a hard reset, taken it in and out, cleaned it and just don't know what to do now!
Please help 🙂

This looks like a hardware issue.

Hi Team,
I'm having issue with Black Cartridge for last couple of months, I'm getting message 'ink cartridge problem', there is some issue with it, I have tried all the troubleshooting including HP Scan & Doctor.
Attached picture for the same.
Could you please send replacement cartridge

I'm having the same problem. I have a "cartridge problem" error for my color cartridge. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps as shown on the support website for this error with no resolution (cleaned contacts on cartridge & printer, pulled pwer cord to reset printer, reseated cartridge). I would like to request a new color cartridge.

the error is in the black and white cartridge. I fixed it.
I had given up on my printer. i had it unplugged for more than a week. but after that i just wanted to see if I could get it to work. i had it unplugged from all power sources had removed the cartridges and put them back in. then plugged the printer back in and it worked it printed. it has at times done this error again so my printer is old and not under warranty any more. So eventually it will not work any more i guess.
