I enrolled in HP Instant Ink about  weeks ago. I installed my first Instant Ink cartridge and now I can't print. Instant Ink account indicates I am connected AND enrolledHP Smart account indicates all is active and correct. Serial numbers match... and yet, the two aren't connecting... and yet, the two aren't connecting

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a malfunction with your HP Instant Ink service. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue.

 

  • Check your internet connection: Make sure that your printer is connected to the internet and that your internet connection is stable.
  • Restart your printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on again. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check your Instant Ink account status: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account to make sure that your account is active and that your printer is enrolled in the correct plan.
  • Update your printer firmware: Check for any firmware updates available for your printer, and install them if there are any.
