Since ive replaced the starter cartridges i have nothing but frustration headaches since. Im ready to throw this 6 month old printer in the trash. Literally. Ive used HP business products in offices for many  years and they are totally indestructible but the home products are junk and switching brands about 5-6 years ago solved that problem. However recently I needed a printer quickly as im in a physical therapy rehabilitation and i needed to print important docs for my attorney.  My GF showed up with this HP ENVY5052, and i thought, here we go... cant blame her as I failed to tell her DO NOT GET AN HP PRINTER. im signed up for instant ink cartridges, connected to internet,, website shows printer is online and communicating. However, the little ink drop icon shows an exclamation point next to it, and message displays that cartridges aren’t registered with instant. HP SENT ME THESE CARTRIDGES. Twice, same problems. Contacted chat support over 10x and dove through every flaming hoop 4-5 times still no luck. And chats get constantly disconnected even on my cellular hotspot so its not the wifi here. I am at my wits end and i cant leave the rehab facility due to coronavirus lockdown (received printer just before it started). Now i cant print ANYTHING for my attorney

I understand your concern and I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

 

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
