Is a refund possible for HP Ink?

I signed up for the Ink in the post thing when I bought the printer.   I dont use that amount of ink and yet the monthly £2.99 still kept coming off my Paypal account credit card. And they didnt send ink because I didnt need it and the printer obviously did not give the signal since I was not running out of ink. 

I went onto my account at HP and discovered that I am although i am being charged I am no longer signed up for receiving " NOT SIGNED UP FOR INK" -  is the status.

The 'virtual assistant' cannot deal with a case where someone appears 'not signed up for ink' is still actually being charged £2.99 a month ( .. for months now). 

My question therefore is how do I reply for a refund and to whom? And it is worth the hassle as it seems extremely difficult to contact HP and speak to a real person without spending a fortune on a paying special phone line? 

I have by the way immediately deleted HP from my Paypal account

Cancelling your payment method is one way to ensure the service will be terminated for lack of payment.

It is not the "best" way -- it will likely be sufficient.
