Hello,
I'm trying to connect to web services, i have tried everything in the troubleshoot video but i just keep getting an error message:
Web Services Setup in Progress
The printer is currently setting up Web Services.
To see the current status of this process, click "Refresh".
When i refresh i get the following message:
Network Problem
A network problem occurred while the printer was trying to connect to the Web Services server.
Click "Troubleshoot" to diagnose the problem, or click "Close" and fix the problem later.
i click troubleshoot and then the last message to appear is the following:
Web Services might be busy or temporarily unavailable. Try again later.
I have been round in circles - i have restarted everything, looked at bandwiths/proxy servers, firmware updates but nothing will connect.
I had the same issue when i bought it however i just presumed that because it was black friday the servers would be busy... now homeschooling is going to be upon us and i need the printer to connect so i can sign up for instant ink
Can anyone help?
Thanks 🙂

To add i have also spoken to the virtual agent and followed all the steps they gave but nothing working. I can't speak to a real person as it is outwith office hours, will try that tomorrow if no luck here.
Also i can print no problem its just the connection to web services that will not work!

@lw15182, Welcome to HP Support Community!
If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printers - Cannot Connect to Web Services and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Hope this helps!
