My ENVY 5000 prints everything fine except my Turbo Tax forms. The letters on the form are printed in symbols but the other numbers and words that I have entered are normal. Can you tell my why and what I can do to fix this?

Hi! @caklink,
Have you selected the correct paper size and paper setting?
As the issue only persists while printing turbo tax forms. It sounds like an application specific issue.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
However, if you still have issues after reinstalling the software try the steps recommended below and check if it helps.
Cancel the print job before performing a printer reset.
In Windows, search for and open Control Panel.
Under Hardware and Sound, click View devices and printers.
Double-click the printer icon, and then double-click See What's Printing.
The print queue opens.
Click the print job you want to cancel, and then click Document.
Click Cancel, and then click Yes to confirm the selection.
Reset the printer
Resetting the printer can often resolve printing issues.
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Try to print.
Lastly, try uninstalling the printer software from the root level on the PC and install the full feature printer software. (Windows PC Only)
In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
Select your HP printer.
Select Uninstall.
In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
Click on Drivers tab.
Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
Select OK.
Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
Close Devices and Printers.
