I have a Laserjet P1606dn printer attached via ethernet to my network. I found an article about using HP auto on/auto off to reduce power consumption and would like to do this with the 1606dn. The article mentioned using the HP Embedded Web Server to set this up. I have tried accessing my printer via its IP address but I can't find anything in the web page that appears similar to the pictures and settings mentioned in the article. Are the auto-on/off and Embedded Web Server available with the P1606dn? Do I need to update the firmware? My current firmware date code is 20100223. Previously I tried turning the printer on and off using a regular appliance timer but this will not turn the printer on because there is a button or switch on the front panel that needs to be pushed to turn it on. Is there any way to configure this button to be always on? I would appreciate some suggestions.

Your printer support Auto-Off, which can be set from your Printer Properties and not from the EWS page for this model
