I have the same error message when trying to instal

However, when I try your steps and on the msconfig screen, disable all - that screen freezes.

When I try to restart my computer, the "Logging off" screen continues forever, so I must remove battery to hard shut down my computer.  When I restart my computer, the changes hadn't been applied, and I still cannot install the printer.

I've tried this about 4 times, without success.
