HP Color Laserjet MFP M277dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We have a HP Color Laserjet MFP M277dw with the error message Supply Memory Error.
All toners are giving the error so first thing first have replaced all toners for toners from same printer that is working without errors. Error still active.

Installed new toners directly from the box in the printer and the error message still is active.
The firmware version that is installed is the 20150716 have triede the following.
Installed the newest firmware: 20190419 still issue is active. Downgraded again to the 20150716 and error stays active.

Have done a factory reset and the the nvram reset all still ending with the same thing printer stays in error modus.
Last step installed HP Updater on the computer but this did nothing.

I found on a forum a guide to install the following firmware: M277_MFP_Series_FW_Update-20160331.exe
Here is the forum link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/laserjet-pro-mfp-M277-dw/td-p/5723143

But that link is not working. How can i fix the issue?

Tjeerd

If the printer continues to display Supply Memory Errors from brand new HP cartridges then you will need to get the printer serviced.  Contact HP if you have warranty remaining on your printer.  Otherwise contact a local HP repair tech.  Something may be wrong with the chip readers but I cant understand why all of them would go bad at the same time.

If you are receiving these errors with 3rd party cartridges then you need to contact your 3rd party supplier.  HP might have invalidated the chips they are using. The 3rd party will need to deliver you a solution.
