Hi goodby,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I understand you are getting blue dots printing on every page.

You can run a cleaing and calibrate the printer to see if that will resolve the issue.

Please provide the following information so I can help you better.

What printer do you have? (Laserjet 200 m251 or Laserjet 200 m276)

Hi goodby,

Thanks for providing that information.

I have provided a document for Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues to see if we can resolve this issue.

Inspect the cyan toner, check the drum to see if there is any cyan on it.

Please provide the results of the Print Quality Page. If you like you can scan it and post it on the forum so I can see what is going on with the cyan toner.

Are you using Genuine HP Toner?

Thank You.

I have been having the same problem for the last couple of months.  Both blue and black dots.  Separate vertical lines, but each dot is about 1" apart.  Did you ever get your issue resolved?

HP Recommended

no i have not.  my blue cartridge is nearing the end so am going to try changing that out - if not - returning the printer

I'm having the same issue with HPLaserJet Pro 200.  Changed my Cyan cartridge about a month ago, along with all the colour toner cartridges. Blue dot every inch down the centre of the page.

Now at 70%

Very very frustrating.

Using genuine Hp Toner and upon visual inspection of cartridge it appears fine.

Hi goodby,

Sorry to hear the issue still isn't resolved.

What were the results when you ran the print quality page from this document?

It will help us to determine if it is one specific toner causing the issue.

If that page printed properly then it might be a software issue.

Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues.

If not, then it could be a issue with the fuser.

If the issue persists, then I would call HP Tech Support for further assistance to see what other options are available for you. Contact HP Worldwide.

Thank You.

Hi TownClerk,

I see that you are getting blue and black dots.  Also separate vertical lines and each dot is about 1" apart.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues document?

What were the results when you ran the print quality page from this document?

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

What kind of paper are you using?

Are you using Genuine HP Toner?

Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

Have a wonderful day!
Thank You.

Hi MayorB,

I see you are getting a blue dot every inch down the centre of the page.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues document?

What were the results when you ran the print quality page from this document?

You can isolate the problem to a particular toner cartridge.

If this is happening with all the toners, then it might be a fuser issue.

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
