The printer should not restart from a print job. This suggests the printer experienced a crash of some kind.
Try looking up the event log from the printer for more clues. You can access teh event log by printing off a report from the printers control panel or through the Embedded Web Server/Admin web page. Shoot us a copy of the log for more suggestions.
