Welcome to the HP Forums @taofeeq,
I would be happy to help you with your Laserjet M176n. I understand from your description that you can print from Word, but not from Excel. Since you can print from one but no the other, I suspect the issue has to do with the program and not the printer or driver. I'd suggest uninstalling Excel and reinstalling again.
I did find something in the Microsoft Community that might help: I can't print from Excel. I can print from Word.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, and click the Accept as Solution button to flag your post as solved. If you require further assistance let me know I will do my best to help.
Thanks.

Hi @Atisza,
Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues printing from excel and adobe. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the full feature software for the printer?
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall excel?
Let's try these steps here:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13 ). Restart the PC
14 ). Now click on this link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/LES/M176/Color_LJPro_MFP_M176_full-solution_15321.exe and updated the printer software.
15 ). Connect the USB cable only when prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Now go ahead and set your printer as default -
Go to control panel – Devices and printers.
Right-click on LaserJet M176 and select “Set as default printer”.
You should get 2 entries under the set as default option. One with a “Fax” prefix, and other with regular “Network” or “USB” depending on your connection type.
Make sure the printer without the “Fax” tag is the default printer and save the settings.
While printing also check to select the correct printer name.
Now try to print from excel and other program and check if that helps.
If the issue persists, I would suggest you could try to Uninstall and reinstall Excel and check if that helps.
