Hi

Microsoft Teams Android devices will be moving to Intune Android Open Source Project (AOSP) device management,  I haven't setup AOSP in Intune yet,

We have around 20 Ploy lens managed devices such as Poly Studio x50/x30/x70, setup in teams mode, within meeting room around my site.

My question is 3 part question is:

1. We have all Ploy Studio devices setup to auto update in the Poly lens admin.    Is it recommended to stop poly lens auto updates on devices immediately, will the auto update policy in poly lens admin move the devices onto AOSP ?    as I haven't setup the Intune AOSP polices.

2. When I have setup the Intune side for AOSP.   Is the recommended way to upgrade to AOSP via the upgrade option in "teams admin console” or will the upgrade option within Poly lens admin console update carry out the upgrade to AOSP?

3. The AOSP DM compatible firmware on Microsoft blog for AOSP doesn't show that the Poly Studio X30/x50/x70 are ready and certificated for AOSP, It says April 2025 instead of available.  When will the update be available within the teams or Poly lens admin console ?

1. For Studio X devices it shouldn't auto upgrade to AOSP immediately so you shouldn't have to stop auto updates in lens. Based on https://info.lens.poly.com/blog/2025/03/18/ms-aosp AOSP will be optional for 4.5 and then automatic for 4.6 so you have some time to prepare.

2. Either way. For CCX I used teams admin center.

3. Not sure, but I assume it will be sometime in April.
