G7500 with Studio E70 and TC8 Kit

Hi,

I have a G7500 installed with a TC8 Touchpad, an E70 Camera and a Poly Trio C60.

I would like to know if it is possible to change providers (From Zoom to Teams and vice versa) through the TC8 Touchpad rather than having to log in to the Administration for the G7500 and changing it there.

Hello @CalebJeff ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application you are using.

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come. Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

From own personaly knowledge, our Partner Microsoft will not retain Microsoft Teams login credentials when the provider is being changed to even if a feature request (via a Poly reseller or Poly sales) would add this functionality via the TC8 or TC10 it would not be a quick process.

If an issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post, please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Best regards

I'm not sure that there is a way to quickly change modes, but as a workaround you could try enabling third party meetings in teams mode. This setting needs to be done locally and can't be set remotely Enable Teams Rooms devices to join third-party meetings - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
