Hi Team,

I have G7500 with I integrated one year ago thru command line and everything works fine. Yesterday I test the system and some buttons not working - like delete last charakters, menu not showing when I use up button, etc. (generaly some commands like „button delete”, „button menu” not working)

Is some settings on web menu where can I change it (unblock or block)?

or maybe to work this commands I need pared pysical remote?

I would be very thaknsfull for info.

Kind regards.

Jacek

Hello @jackx ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible

Hi Team,

Ok, let's start again.

One Year ago we install 2x G7500 in our client bulding and integrate it with rooms control system - Crestron thrue RS232 and using described in "Command-Line API" commands. When we doing this everything works fine - all needed comand works properly. Client don't used oryginal remote (probably they losed it).

Two weeks ago I been on this bulding and checked this room to be shure that everything works perfect. I noticed that some of functions not working from Crestron panel. I checked communications and what G7500 is response for not working commands.

For example when I send to G7500 commands:

1 - "button 8" - I add number 8 to call field but when I use "button delete"  to clear this digit it not working, I am shure that this function worked properly when we doing integration.

2 - when I send "button up" on home screen I always saw menu bur located on down in the display - now it is not working

I can't check firmware version becuse don't have remote and from Crestron panel not working menu. RS232 Mode was set to "Control"

My question is that this may be linked with physicaly remote (no pared remote in G7500), or somone hear about that, or this commnds is removed from new firmware, or options in web interface.

I would be very thanksfull for any information.

Kind regards

Hello ,@jackx ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

Great explanation but without knowing the software we can only guess. Find out the IP of the unit and then connect to it. Ensure the auto update is off and return to the old software.

Use Custom Server as the option and the older releases can be found here:
