Hi Community,

We have X52 Soundbar with TC10 with both devices running in Zoom Rooms partner mode. We would like to add a Trio C60 as expansion Mic only on the conference table without the Trio as a Zoom Room controller also. Can this be done. If so how?

All devices.are running latest firmware

X52-4.2

TC10-6.0

Trio- 8.

Hi @Integ78

Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

Trio c60 can be used  as expansion mic kindly follow below procedure.

First, set the trio C60 in poly mode. Update the trio C60 to the latest version, perform a factory reset and set it to generic. Once it is in generic mode, Go in settings > Advanced > Network configuration > Base profile > Set to Poly controller Mode.

Once the device is Poly controller mode, in the Web Ui of the X52, go to general settings > Device Management > Available Devices > Pair the Trio C60.

If you need any further assistance, I would request that you contact HP Support, and our support engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:.

Hello @Integ78 ,

welcome to the HP Poly community.

Depending on the Provider used a paired and compatible Poly Trio may show a remote or load an Android Application. To my own personal knowledge, as shown in this new FAQ post >here<, the Poly Trio will show the Zoom app.

Any change to this would need to come from Zoom support.

Best Regards

Thankyou. You are correct, the C60 irrespective of the profile applied, this will be overridden when connected to the X52 in zoom rooms.
