Hi...

Just wanted to reach out other to heard if they have any experience suddenly the audio level from a Teams Room is low for the other participants?

Case:

Teams Room join a meeting, others is in the meeting remotely from their PC's. The remote participant experience that audio level from the Teams Room is lower than normal.

This drop is audio level just suddenly happen.

A workaround is to Gain the Audio Transmission Audio to almost MAX.. But causes some noise in the call from the Teams Room.

So is it me, or is there somebody in this community that have experience or heard of this?

Customers may have low Microphone send level from X30 and X50 devices to the far end of a call start...

The only setting available on the interface is Transmation Audio Gain, there is no MIC send level setting. Just in case people are looking for one with that name,

For more than one unit use the scripts described >here<

Why when I try to set this Audio Gain setting on Poly Lens for the device models,it completely ignores it?

Is Poly lens not working as it should also on this setting - is it is able to be configured.

HP Recommended

Hello @GManUK

Poly Lens can only set this for units in Poly OS.

Therefore the discussion to use a power shell script as per >here<

Hi Steffen,

It seems if if set this in Lens policy, no Poly OS device picks it up at all.
(the do pick up other settings, like audio fence)

I did use the scripts instead, but it may be worth a note on Lens just ignoring the settings.

Thanks.

HI...

Steffen is right.. The parameter is only working in Poly OS mode...

voice.volume.transmitLevel
Specifies the audio level, in decibels, at which to transmit sound. Unless otherwise advised, you
should set this value to 0 dB.
You can’t provision this parameter if the system is in Partner Mode.
-6-18 (default is 0)

It is sad, that it don't work in partner mode.... Would have been so easy just to update the Lens policy..........

Hi

that would be great if more parameters would be supported in Partner mode.

eks. Sleep time in Device Mode... No reason for a monitor to be on when not in use.
