Does anyone know what's holding up the Video OS 5.0 update or when it might be released?

Waiting on it with hope that it possibly fixes the UVC negotiation issues with various 3rd party cameras such as Q-SYS NV/NC.

As we're moving to Android 13, would also wonder if full factory reset would work as a workaround in downgrading incase it causes any other problems.

Hello @Maurice41 ,

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

We cannot post any dates in the HP Poly Community about yet unreleased software.

PolyOS 5.0 will be released for Poly Studio X32, Poly Studio X52, Poly Studio X72 and Poly Studio G62

Older Hardware will receive PolyOS 4.7 next.

If you have a current issue I suggest you open a Support Ticket as our Support Organization can communicate dates.

EDIT:

From our https://lens.poly.com/ Page:

POLY VIDEO OS 5.0 update coming soon
Poly VideoOS 5.0 release is a one-way upgrade and cannot be rolled back. If your systems use auto-update, click More Details below to review the changes before the release.

Requirements to Upgrade
Devices must be running Poly VideoOS 4.6.0 or later.
Devices on earlier versions will automatically install 4.6.0 before upgrading to 5.0.0.

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
