poly x32

Subject:

Hello,

We recently purchased a Poly X32 (pre-sale unit) for testing in a small conference room.

Initially, the device was stuck in a reboot loop, restarting every 30 seconds without ever reaching the main menu screen.

We discovered that the Poly X32 only starts correctly when the HDMI monitor is disconnected.

Currently, the workaround involves disconnecting the HDMI cable, waiting approximately one minute until the system boots, and then reconnecting the HDMI cable. This allows the device to function normally. However, if the HDMI cable remains connected during startup, the reboot loop persists.

This presents a challenge for our intended installation in a manager's office, where the unit needs to be discreetly connected to a large screen, making the HDMI cable difficult to access for repeated manual disconnection/reconnection.

We would like to know if this is a known issue and if there are any available updates or solutions to resolve this problem.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello @Medyk72 ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product or the Partner application version you use. For example Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, Poly SIP/H.323 mode etc.

This is important, especially in the future, when someone finds this post in days, months, or years.

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

In the FAQ or the Read 1st section, we remind users why this is important.

In addition, Pre-Sales Units are not for sale aka they are Beta Units and should have a label "Not for Resale" stating so.

Best regards

I have the same issue but it's with Poly X72.

I tried many different cables HDMI without success. My projector NEC have the issue.

I tried a monitor and another projector (same brand) with same HDMI cable. It's working normally. Very strange.

If I start without monitor, it's ok.

Reset factory was done, same issue.

Device is up to date. still the issue.
