I have an OfficeJet 8030 and I can't link my account to Amazon Alexa. My printer is already connected to the HP App and continues to ask me to enter in a Printer Claim Code. I have tried entering the code and that does not work either. When I click on the link below that states to click if you already have your printer connected, it just shoots me back to the same page inside the Amazon Alexa App and also on the desktop version of Alexa. Any ideas on how to get my printer linked back up to the Alexa HP Skill?

@solargoose

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I understand you are not able to print due to a claim code error. To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you using the HP Connected Account to add the printer?

This YouTube video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiR4YsKCeLU&t=47s&ab_channel=HPSupport  should help you to add the printer and find the claim code number.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
