Riddle_Decipher,
Nice to see HP taking an interest in this, can we assume they will also be contacting myself and the other posters on this thread?

Solution should be accepted if HP would fix the problem appart from any android version.

Agree, shouldn't be asking people to accept and tick problem solved untill the problem is proven solved.

Hi @kpkpkp,

I believe your Nexus 6 supports Wi-Fi Direct. What model is your HP printer? If your printer supports Wi-Fi Direct, you might be able to continue using the HP Print Service Plugin.  Go to Mobile Printing Solutions Compatible with HP Printers to find out whether your printer supports it or not.

Then, confirm your phone supports Wi-Fi Direct and make sure it is turned on. Next, go to Printing from Android Smartphones or Tablets > Step 3 > #2. The step describes in detail with a screen capture of what to look for when printing via Wi-Fi Direct from an Android device.

Let me know if that helps!

Hi, I too have been having this same exact issue since the update it seems.   Also did the clearing, uninstalling and what not to keep having the same issue with any HP app that the HP admin has been suggesting is balony at this point like were idiots and havent tried x, y, z, before asking for help.

Andriod Nexus 6P with 7.1.1 OS...

And dont give me anything about direct printing when ur app is what is causing the wifi to go in and out continuiously like it keeps rebooting.  So far no HP printer apps have fixed this issue.

When HP app is activated/opened thats when the wifi starts its cutting out and then back on and off again until I terminate the app only then does my phones wifi return back to normal operation.  So this an HP issue.  I think with this experience and with how HP seems to not want to help us out seems only logical to switch to another printer brand.

Heard Brother printers and the apps work on NEXUS 6P/ PIXEL google phone devices.  So if HP doesn't get its support in gear it will be loosing a very long and loyal customer as all my printers and laptops have been HP but now might just go elsewhere for those devices, plus i'm an IT specialist and push HP products to my customers when they upgrade so you could loose more business.  Just saying...   The longer HP doesn't fix its app the closer I get to saying bye bye HP from this customer and his many clients who use ur products.
