So has anyone received a message from HP?

I've been in contact with them by facebook chat. They don't have a solution yet. The problem they say is the Android version.

So am I correct in saying no one has been contacted by HP as Riddle_Decipher said they would?
Come on HP take the issue seriously, your not even doing what your own reps say you will.

Guys. Get rid of HP print plugin from the phone and try installing Samsung print service plugin. . Then get HP ePrint APP . Let me know IF it worked for you

THANK YOU!!!! I was about to buy a new phone over this. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on with my phone. I uninstalled the HP printer service and BOOM she's back to normal!!!

Android 7.1.2 update just came available to me.

I did the update, but DID NOT uninstall or reinstall HP Print Services Plugin - I just "turned it on".
And now I can print.  And my wi-fi doesn't toggle ON/OFF every few seconds!
(YAY!)

Yep update to 7.1.2 has solved this issue, no credit to HP though they didn't even acknowledge that there was a serious problem this was entirely down to Google fixing WiFi issues in the latest patch.

I have solution for 7.1.1!!!!!!!!!! I make no promises but this worked for me. This worked for me when many methods and all HP apps were failing. Dang wifi just kept cycling on and off.

In my example I downloaded a Google Doc as PDF and had HP Print Service Plugin:

1) open PDF with PDF Viewer

2) Click three dot menu, select "Send File..."

3) Select "HP Print Service Plugin"

4) Select printer name, print options, done.

Note: after printing I did have to force close the printer plugin/clear data because it never recognized the print job as completed even though it had completed.
