HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer

Hello,

 

i have a hp3630 printer and want to print from my Samsung A54. I always get Authentification Eror and printing is skipped.

 

Authentification fails with error User / Password (Picture 1) and installing Certificate is in a loop (Picture 2).

Printing from Laptop is working.

Any Idea?

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing authentication issues with your HP DeskJet 3630 All-In-One Printer when using the HP Printing Plugin. Authentication issues can be frustrating, but there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

 

  • Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device you are trying to print from. Inconsistent network connections can sometimes lead to authentication issues.
  • Update the Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause compatibility problems with software and plugins.
  • Update the HP Printing Plugin: Make sure you are using the latest version of the HP Printing Plugin on your device. Outdated versions might not work properly and could lead to authentication problems.
  • Restart Devices: Try restarting both your printer and the device you're trying to print from. This can help refresh the connections and clear any temporary glitches.
  • Check HP Account Credentials: Ensure that you are using the correct HP account credentials to authenticate with the plugin. If you're not sure, try resetting your password on the HP website and then using the new credentials in the plugin.
  • Firewall and Security Software: Sometimes, security software or firewalls on your device might interfere with the communication between the plugin and the printer. Temporarily disabling them can help you identify if they are causing the issue.

Hello,

 

the connection is ok and the firmware is up to date. I also tryed the other points without improvement.

Printing from laptop or apple devices is working without trouble. Only on (3 differrent) samsung devices it is not working.

I also generated a new certificate and diasbled user authentification on the printer. Only scanning is possible.
