B109n

Hello ,

I have new router/ Wi-Fi network. My B109n printer is still connected to the old network (Which doesn't exist Anymore) . Now the problem is that my computer is broken so I can't switch Wi-Fi settings on the printer. Is there a possibility to reset Wi-Fi in the printer and ad new network in the printer so I can print again using my mobile phone, printing app?

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Your Printer can be connected to the Wi-Fi using two methods:

1. USB to Wireless Setup

2. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

Since you do not have a Computer, we will have to use option 2 to connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

In order to connect your Printer to the new Wi-Fi, we will need to know if your router has a WPS button on it.

Please do let me know.

Thanks.

Hello,

Thx for your reply.

Yes my router has a WPS button.

I tried once to connect my printer, but It failed.

Maybe I do,my do it the right way. Maybe because the printer is still connected to the old network/router that doesn't exist anymore.

I understand. Do try to the following steps to connect the Printer to the new Wi-Fi:

1. On the Home Screen, press button next to Scan.

2. Press the button next to Wireless Menu.

3. Press the button next to WPS.

4. Press the button next to Push Button.

5. Press the corresponding button on a WPS-enabled router or other networking device.

6. Press OK.

Once this is done, the Printer would be connected to the Wi-Fi.

The Photosmart Wireless All-in-One Printer - B109n is only compatible with Android devices. If you do own an Android phone, you may use this document to connect your phone to the Printer and print from it.

Do keep me posted.

I am sorry. I tried the steps as told, but every time the printer display and butons begin to blink. The message on the display ; printer error turn printer off & on.  Is there some way I can reset the printer?

@Ironman705

Yes, we sure can. Here are the steps for it:

1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue still persists, please try Step number 4 and 5 from this document.

Let me know if this helps.
