I have the HP Smart app.   I have no actual problems with the printing.  However, I have to turn on my printer manually.  Is there a way that my printer can turn on automatically when I go to my print app?

HP Recommended

If the printer is turned OFF ( not in sleep) only pressing a power button can turn the printer back ON.
