HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer
iOS

Not able to print from my iPhone using HP Smart app.  Printer shows up in the app. When I use print feature, no printer is shown, hit select printer and my printer is displayed. The wheel spins for a few seconds and drops out to “no printer selected.” Software is updated, on the same network. I can print from my iPad and laptop. I am able to print with my phone on another Hp at different location. Any ideas?

It looks like your HP ENVY 7640 printer is having trouble staying connected to your iPhone when using the HP Smart app. Since you mentioned that you can print from your iPad and laptop, and even from another HP printer at a different location, we can rule out network and app-related issues.

 

Currently, the HP ENVY 7640 supports iOS 15.x, so if your iPhone is running a newer version of iOS, compatibility issues might be the reason you're experiencing this issue.
