HP 6515 Photosmart printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

6515 Printer has worked fine for years over network.  But have not been able to get the eprint/web services thing to work, which if I wish to get the HP cartridge subscription going, I need. Have done the reboot of the router, modem and printer. Also have logged into the HP printer settings page via its IP address and changed the DNS address and made it manual.  

 

No change from any of this.  Still getting the "cannot connect to the server" message on the printer

Hi,

Installing the latest printer firmware should resolve web services connectivity and allow using HP ePrint or Apps:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ps6510/PS6510_R1629A.exe

 

Regarding the HP cartridge subscription, I assume you reffer to HP Instant Ink?

 

be awarethat your printer is not eligible for HP Instant ink, only select later HP Officejet, Envy or Deskjet printers are supported:
