Cannot sign into HP Smart on Acer Chromebook

I bought a new Acer Chromebook and downloaded the HP Smart app from  the Google store. My laptop has established a wireless connection to my HP OfficeJet Pro 6960.  However, when I try to sign into HP Smart to use additional features, I just get a spinning wheel.  My username and password for HP Smart work well on all my other devices.  What do I have to do to sign into HO Smart on Chromebook?  Help, please!

I cannot find any HP Smart App help in the referenced document.  Log-in completes, but the connection to the services does not.

Same problem that I am experiencing.  HP Smart accepts my log in credentials but does not connect to the service.  All I get is an endlessly spinning wheel.

rockpoint,

 

We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.

 

I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
