I’m trying to figure out how to change setting from portrait to landscape from my phone or iPad.

@Sseifrig, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you would like to change the orientation before printing. Which app are you using to print?  Let us try these steps:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on the iOS device

Use the HP Smart app to print

Click here to download and know more about the app.

Note: You will be able to change the orientation of a picture/photo, not of documents. Open the image you want to print on the HP Smart app and then tap on the 3vertical lines with circular dots on it in the preview section.

Click on Crop > change the orientation from the icon at the right corner.
