How can I change the scale of my photo in print preview? It only allows me to fit the page, etc, but I’d like to change the percentage of the photo so I don’t print on the whole page like maybe 60%.

Hi @Eshien

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It looks like iPad’s built-in print preview doesn’t offer a direct percentage scaling option, but there are a few workarounds you can try:

  1. Use a Third-Party App – The Print to Size app allows you to resize images before printing. You can check out a tutorial on how it works here.
  2. Adjust Scaling in a PDF Editor – If your image is in a PDF format, you can open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader or Apple’s Preview app and manually adjust the print scale.
  3. Modify Printer Settings – Some printers allow scaling adjustments through their own apps. If you’re using an HP printer, you might find relevant settings in HP Smart.
  4. Check Apple’s Support Community – Other users have discussed similar issues, and you might find solutions here.

If you’re looking for a step-by-step guide, HP’s support community also has discussions on this topic here. Let me know if you need more help! 😊
