Hi,
I am trying to connect my DeskJet 3630 printer with my Android phone via Wi-Fi.
I am able to use the printer via Direct connect, but when I try to configure it with the HP AiO app to use Wi-Fi it just gets stuck on stage 2/5 - It connects with the printer but then is not able to configure the printer. It just keeps cycling between stages 1 and 2 - it doesn't show an error just keeps going forever.
I have tried restarting both the printer and my Android phone but no success. I have put the printer back into Set-up mode prior to syncing.
Any idea how I can get this to work?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP forum.
Can just check if your router supports Dual band? (2.4 and 5GHz)
Can you ensure that you Android device is connected to the 2.4 Ghz network and try the AiO installation again?
Let us know if that works.
Thanks.

The AIO app is designed to use a printer that is connected to your home network; not Wireless Direct.

Hi,
If both your Android device and Printer is on the same 2.4Ghz network, then shouldn't be an issue.
If you are not able to download and install AIO remote successfully, then it's indicating that the connection of Android device and the Android store is not working properly. Do you have another Android device that you can try, (or even download and install the AiO remote apps at a friend's house etc), then try to see if you are able to e.g. scan using the apps to your printer.
Also, are you able to get an IP address from your printer? What's the IP address of the printer?
