I recently opened a new office. We are trying to use our mobile hot spot for our computers and to the printer. I can get the hot spot to connect with the printer but it loses it often and could only get the hot spot to connect to the printer and computer once. Therefore, I am unable to print ANYTHING for my new office. Is there a reason this could be happening? Does anyone else use hot spot with their printer?

@Marisalwood,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I recommend you use Wireless direct instead of using the mobile hotspot. Follow the steps in the below article to configure the printer using wireless direct.

You can use your mobile phone as a hotspot but when you do this, your mobile will act as a router.

In this scenario, you will no longer be able to print from the mobile phone to which the printer is connected. However, you can connect other devices to the same network and then you can print from that device.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
