Deskjet won’t print in colour when printing on iphone

I use my iPhone to print documents etc from my emails. I select the document and then select print, when it comes up the preview is in colour but when I select my printer to print from via WiFi the preview turns to black and white and there are no options to choose to print in colour! I have deleted and re downloaded the hp smart app, I have set up the printer as a new printer etc in the app but it still happens. 

The printer can print in colour as it will do from my Samsung tablet.

Try a new print cartridge I had the same issue for months couldn’t find a fix untill I put in a new print cartridge and the colour printing option on my iPhone/iPad returned.
