I cannot print 2 sided document, from any device, my laptop nor my iPhone
When I try to print from my iPhone, the 2 sided doesn't show
And from my laptop the duplex box is grayed out and defaulted to "auto(none)"
and when I click on Printer Properties, I just see one tab, the layout, and 2 orientation choices Portrait and landscape.
Could someone help me find a solution?
Thank you

Hi@MonaDa,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP ENVY Photo 6255 All-In-One Printer duplex printer is not working correctly.
I have a few recommendations
- Click this link for more settings https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/ish_2486497-2193233-16
From the Windows menu, open the Control Panel.
- Look for Hardware and Sound. Click on View Devices and Printers.
- Locate the printer and right-click on it.
- Choose Printer Properties (note that this is different from simply Properties).
- Find the check box that says Automatic Duplexing unit.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click on the YES button to reply that the response was helpful and/or to say “Thank You”.

Hi@MonaDa,
Thank you for responding, I appreciate your time and effort.
Make sure the printer is on and connected to your computer. Go to HP Software and Driver Downloads, and then enter your printer model. Select Firmware from the list of drivers, click Download next to the update, and then follow the instructions.
Try updating the printer firmware using this link https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
