HOW TO CHange the ptinter tray when i try to print from my phone it keep telling me that the photo tray is out of paper and i and not wanting to use the photo tray want to use the main

According to a report from our Community team dated earlier this month (March 2023),

There is a "bug" in the 10.0x HP Smart Mobile print application for iOS.

Yes, HP knows.

Yes, there will be an update released when the fix is ready.

Yes, we all dislike it.  😑

 

For the moment, if you can do so, load the Photo Tray with HP photo paper.

No photo paper?

Not sure, but it might be enough to cut up some paper into 4x6 inch size and load the stubborn tray with the "fake paper".

 

After the photo tray is loaded with paper,

Check / Adjust the EWS settings for Tray and Paper
