My Envy 110 Printer is connected to my network, has an IP address, and shows on my network map. The wireless network test results shows signal quality Excellent, Connected, with "PASS" for Connectivity, Network, and Settings. My internet connection is good (I am typing this from my network).
BUT when I try to enable Web Services, after accepting the Terms of use, the printer checks for product update, and returns a server connection error. This has happened consistently over multiple days. I have shut down the system, waited overnight, tried resetting to factory defaults, with no improvement.
I can print to and scan from the printer wirelessly, but I cannot connect to ePrint, eFax, etc.
Help!
Thank you,
Oren Fletcher

The steps below typically resolve the issue you’re experiencing:
1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
2. Unplug the power cord from the back of your router (and modem, if separate from the router).
3. Wait 20 seconds, then plug the router (and modem, if applicable) back in.
4. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the printer back in and power it on.
5. Press the ePrint button on the printer's front panel, and it should try to connect to Web Services again.
Those steps usually resolve the issue, but if it still occurs you can try setting static network info for the printer (which sometimes helps to stabilize the printer's ability to get outside of your network, to the internet):
1. Press the wireless icon at the top of the printer's screen and note the IP address.
2. Enter the IP address into the address bar of a web browser on a computer and press enter or click the browser's go button.
3. The printer status page should be opened. Click on Network at the top.
4. Click on Networking on the left.
5. Select Proxy Settings.
Note: If you are prompted for a redirect, select OK. If you receive a certificate warning, select the option that lets you continue anyway.
If you receive a Internal System Error, refresh the page until it loads the proxy settings.
6. Verify that all fields are blank. If they are not, clear them and make sure the Proxy Server requires authentication is unchecked and click apply. You should get a success message.
7. Click on Network Address (IP) on the left.
Note: If you only see IP Address Configuration and DNS Address Configuration with a yellow note, refresh the page until it loads completely.
8. Leave the IP Address Configuration as Automatic IP.
9. Change DNS Address Configuration to Manual DNS server.
10. Enter 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Manual Alternate DNS Server.
11. Click Apply and you should get a success message.
12. Power off the printer for 30 seconds and then turn it back on to force the new settings to take effect.

I have the same problem with the same printer : Envy 110. When I get to point 4 above (click on Networking), I'm prompted with a logon/password dialog box to log into the printer server. Both fields are blank.
My printer is visible on the network, I have tried all the suggestions further up but every time I try to enable web services, it checks for updates and then says "Unable to connect to Web Services. Confirm internet access and try again".
I did have to allocate the IP address manually as the automatic IP address allocation does not fall anywhere near within the range of my router - why do devices allocate an IP address automatically if they don't know the IP address range of the network they are joining ? - so I can use the printer from my desktop PC, but do not have an email address for the printer because I cannot enable web services. 3 days I've tried to resolve this issue, can anyone please help ?

Hi VeloMiche,
I see that you're having trouble getting ePrint enabled. It looks like somehow a password has been set on your printer's EWS. I would try the steps below. Keep in mind after completing the steps below you will have to place printer back on network. Once you place printer back on network then you can follow Zack's steps.
1. Select the wireless icon on front panel of printer.
2. Select settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page select restore network defaults.
4. Select ok.
Now you will have to setup the wireless connection again. Let me know how it goes.

Issue resolved.
I restored factory defaults on the printer, and re-added it to the network, though I still had to override the automatic IP address allocation and put in my own. At that point, I was then able to modify the proxy settings on the printer via the browser, print out the sheet with my printer ID on it and successfully started to use ePrint web services.
Thanks for your help.

This is not working for me. I get down to steps 9 and 10. I enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then it tells me invalid input. I have tried everything I can to get the web services connected (again, it connected just fine when I first bought the printer.) Any suggestions?
