Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to enable web services on your HP ENVY 7644 e-All-in-One Printer.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: http://hp.care/2c9bHQZ

Let me know how that works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.

Sure Hope I can get some help here too! I've had an Envy 100 for a few years. Problem free. Can print to over LAN with no issue.

Just bought a Chromebook and tried to set up  Web Service - EPrint - Cloud Print. Chrome could see no printers so I came here looking for answers and saw the original and subsequent posts.  I have followed phase 1 and 2 of the suggested "fix" but still get the same error message and no connectivity.

What other options are available?

I understand that you have an HP Envy 100 printer and would like to would like to connect it to your Chromebook for wireless printing. I read that the printer works fine over LAN connection. But with Chromebook it says no connectivity. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

I recommend you to refer to this HP document which contains detailed steps to have your HP printer connected via Google Cloud print: http://hp.care/2fuaEOL

Followed all steps and still cannot access Web services. I have even confirm that preferred DNS address is 8.8.8.8 and the alternate DSN address is 8.8.4.4. None of the steps help to resolve issues!

As usual, it seems asa if HP has once again left its loyal customers in the dust. The linkj you sentme to advises as of Sept. 2016 - 3 monhts ago, Web Services stopped being supported and will not be enabled! That is real poor customer service.

The confusing "help" dialogue goes on to read that a user should install as a Classic Printer instead of Clou Ready priniter. So I followed the steps below, and of couse they don't work. There are NO devices listed and no way to install any!

I'll be dumping this [iece of junk and going to Epson unless someone there cares ebough to roll up their sleeves and offer we users a  REAL solution!

Then, follow the steps below to enable the Google Cloud Print connector:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. In a new tab, open chrome://devices
  3. You’ll see a list of devices already registered with Google Cloud Print, and new devices available on the network.
  4. Under "Classic printers,” click Add printers.
  5. You'll see a confirmation that Google Cloud Print has been enabled. To learn more, click Manage your printers.

Thanks for the update & appreciate your efforts 🙂

I understand that you are having issues while setting up the Google cloud printing. Let's try to set up your printer as a “Classic Printer” using a PC or android device to setup the cloud printing. Follow this link: http://hp.care/2hgjWww

Also, check http://hp.care/2hgqvPC for detailed instructions about the Google cloud printing.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance. Thank you!
