Bought an HP Office jet 4655 2 weeks ago. I have it wired to desktop (Using Windows 10) via USB Cable. Also I setup wireless printing so I can print from my iphone and everything went just fine after the install. A day or so later my phone would no longer print (no printers found)
I have called tech support 3 times now and every time they get it working but the next day it stops again from being able to print from mobile devices.
Here are some further details and things I have done alreay....
Assigned a staic ip to printer
It is connecting fine to home network (same one that my phone connects to)
I have 2 networks (a 2.4 and 5.4 ghz) and I am sure both printer and phone are connected to same one.
Turned off virus protection and malware protection
This morning printer would not print from phone (even though it did last night) I typed IP address in the browser of my phone and the embedded webserver (control panel for printer) showed up fine. I was also able to access it opn my desktop to.
I tried a restart of printer today and the iphone and still did not work.
While in the embedded web server I did notice the "Wireless setup Wizard" did not have the green check mark where it would say configured. I went through the steps on that ... so basically shut down wireless connection of the printer and re-established the connection (WITH THE SAME SETTINGS) then I was able to print fine.
I am sure come tomorrow I will be unable to print again from my iphone. If anyone has any solutions please let me know. VERY FRUSTRATING .... a wireless printer is supposed to make life easier not more diffuculty by having to go through a bunch of steps every time I want to print. I tried another step today (Turned off my firewall so we will see if that allows it to print romorrow)

Starting and ending DHCP address in router are at
192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.253
OK, you don't have a static IP because the static IP must be outside the DHCP range of the router. Your router has NO static IP space available. Do this, in the router...
Set the starting DHCP address to 192.168.0.100
Set the ending DHCP address to 192.168.0.150
Anything outside thise range is available for static IP's. I have my printer set to 192.168.0.10.

OK I reset the DHCP Range..... did a re-configure of wireless settings of printer using same options as earlier and phone was able to find printer. I guess time will tell if this was the fix as it usually works for a bit then drops

What did you reconfigure in the printer?
